The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006 state that personnel who have the "POTENTIAL TO DISTURB" asbestos must undergo Asbestos awareness training.
ASBESTOS AWARENESS TRAINING IS A LEGAL REQUIREMENT
Appropriate training is a legal requirement for those who "have the potential to disturb asbestos at work " and it may well reduce incidences of asbestos exposure and lessen the cost of remedial work caused by accidental damage.
