Site Management Safety Training Scheme Refresher - 2 Days Those who have previously completed their SMSTS course 5 years ago (or more) and wish to renewtheircertificate. You can undertake the refresher course within 6 months either side of your SMSTS pass date. Health and Safety Awareness - 1 Day This course is aimed at individual’s who are about to work, or have just begun work within the industry. The course provides a practical summary of health, safety, welfare and environmental issues, helping the individual to understand potential hazards they may face on site, and identifying the individual’s responsibility for looking after themselves and others. Achieving Behavioural Change - 1 Day The course is designed to provide Delegates with an understanding of how attitude, behaviour,communication and worker engagement at all levels can help prevent the chances of accidentsoccurring. Managing Safely is a course for managers and supervisors in any sector and any organisation. It is designed to give managers all they need to know to help them handle health and safety in their teams. The flexible new high impact programme covers all the main health and safety issues, and includes a session tackling the environment too. Working Safely is a one-day course for staff from any sector with no supervisory or managerial responsibility. It provides a grounding in the essentials of health and safety – everyone at work should have an understanding of why they must ‘work safely’ and this course offers exactly that. Working Safely introduces a completely new approach to health and safety training and offers all the basics in a high impact interactive package. CIEH Level 2 Award in Health & Safety in the Workplace Aimed at those in the workplace who participate in activities related to the subject area (equating to the present foundation or 'basic' qualification) Examples are shop floor employees, front line staff employees in production or services.
